On Dec. 12th, the pair will release this written work to the public in an intimate digital setting where the pieces will be played in a live cathedral and streamed to a small gathering over Zoom.

Facing These Moments and aims to be both a conversation and a moment to reflect on our human experience in 2020— examining solitude, grief, race-relations, isolation and uncertainty. “This choreographic work will be set to the new music of Tauwoo, songs Patterns, Orange Blossom and Painted Lines— selections from the much anticipated release of Patterns, a solo EP to be debuted on December 8th,” the team told us about the digital event they are hosting, “written during the pandemic, the EP reflects on creativity as a cathartic release, examining introspection as a form of growth. Blending drums, bass, piano and synth textures, his music can be compared to artists such as Thom Yorke, Patrick Watson and James Blake.”

The duo will be presenting a choreography/ live music performance in a livestream viewing format at the Saint Joseph’s Arts Society on Dec. 12th 2020. With the excellence of dancers Calvin Thomas, Jamielyn Duggan, and Alexis Borth.
