10% off is not a Black Friday sale, it’s a rounding error. So here are a few businesses that delivered on the promise of the biggest online shopping day of the year; we’ll be keeping a close eye on them in 2019!

Cards Against Humanity

The card game company knows how to use satire to promote itself. They’ve rebranded to a (legitimate) chip company and their 2015 Black Friday promotion involved asking everyone to give them $5 for no reason…and they raised $71k, which they then spent on themselves. Amazing. But last year they outdid themselves with the 90% off sale. A car for $97.50. A Picasso for $60.00. A hundred dollar note for $1. You get it. Keep an eye on CAH’s social media, it’ll be worth it.

Apple

While they don’t really ‘do’ Black Friday, Apple always has additional offers that happen to coincide with the day. It’s usually in the form of gift vouchers or giveaways when you buy an Apple product, so if you’re about to buy an iPad…wait.

Target

If you love crowds and getting crushed and abused, head into Target on Black Friday. Luckily, some of the deals have already been advertised and are available online, but you can be sure all those scratches and bite marks will be worth it – Target always rewards instore customers. 10 tried-and-tested social strategies to smash your Black Friday sales Grab your handy done-for-you sales strategy content prompts

Dyson

If an expensive vacuum cleaner is your jam, then Dyson has you covered. The business is always eager to show how technology-forward they are and Black Friday is a chance for them to reduce their prices from insane, to almost affordable.

Pretty Much Everywhere

As I finish this list, I realise it’s relatively pointless. I mean, everywhere has Black Friday sales these days, so go to a shop that you want to buy stuff from – online or otherwise – and purchase things. On Friday.
