Counting On’s season 10 premiere sneak peek gives fans a look into Jeremy and Jinger’s big decision to move their family to Los Angeles. The couple decided they would leave behind Texas for the City of Angels.

25-year-old Jinger Duggar Vuolo is the fourth daughter born to 19 Kids and Counting’s Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The reality TV star met her husband Jeremy Vuolo, a former professional athlete, while on a mission trip to Central America in 2015. The couple courted for seven months and then the two were married by November 2016. The family lived in Texas when they welcomed their first child Felicity Nicole Vuolo in July 2018.

While the rest of the family is living near their hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas, Jinger spoke about her love of big cities. In the sneak peek for season 10 (via Us Weekly), she said, “I always thought it would be neat to live in a big city. I love [the] hustle and bustle.” Her sister, Jessa Seewald, said that the move to Los Angeles didn’t come to a surprise to her because her sister has always loved visiting big cities. She said, “Anytime we had a family road trip and end up in Chicago or New York, she was always like, ‘This is awesome. I’d love to live here one day.’ And the rest of us are like, ‘No, I want to go back to the country’”

She and her husband decided to make the move to Los Angeles so that Jeremy could pursue graduate studies at the Master’s Seminary. Jeremy said, “This decision to move to L.A. came about as we were discussing the decision for me to pursue further theological training.” He continued, “Life for us is always an adventure.” With their 15-month-old daughter in tow, the move will come with plenty of adjustments. Jeremy said in the clip, “In the last year we welcomed Felicity into the world, we have now been adjusting to life as new parents.” Jinger adds, “Being parents, it’s been an amazing change. It can be more unpredictable. we are continuously learning as Felicity is growing, just what it means to be a parent.”

The young parents are excited about their new adventures in Los Angeles. The Counting On stars are looking forward to raising their daughter as a California girl. While the move may be shocking for most of the family, it seems that this couple is excited and welcoming the changes. Fans can continue to watch the ups and downs of moving across the country on the new season of Counting On.
