Crash 4 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will cost $59.99, while the Switch version will be $39.99. Existing Crash 4 owners on PS4 and Xbox One can upgrade to the PS5 and Series X|S versions for free, though if they own the disc version, they need a console with a disc drive for the update.

Next-gen updates include 4K and 60fps support on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Xbox Series S will upscale Crash 4 to 4K, though as with other games, it won’t support 60fps.

The PC version will be a bit different. 4K support depends on a rig’s specs, of course, and the frame rate is capped at 60fps if using the recommended settings. It’s uncapped if not, but whatever the choice, Crash 4 on PC has to be played with an internet connection.

We called Crash 4 a beautiful, if sometimes frustrating, step in the right direction for the series that skillfully combines retro gameplay with modern charm.
