Comcast is going to allow its members to sign into their accounts and do all kinds of DVR stuff from their iPads. Great. But here’s the interesting: eventually (December) customers can watch Comcast movies over the web on their iOS devices. That’s not necessarily from their homes or on a Comcast network. You can download the app here. The Xfinity TV App is part of Comcast’s ongoing commitment to offer customers the ability and flexibility to watch TV on their terms....

Update: Microsoft confirms Crackdown 3 releases in February 2019. It looks like Sumo Digital’s Crackdown 3 won’t be releasing in 2018 as planned. This isn’t the first time that the third Crackdown title has been delayed. According to a report from The Oregonian, two Chinese engineering students allegedly scammed Apple out of nearly $1 million worth of iPhone replacements. The two are now facing criminal charges in federal court, the report says. The scheme began in 2017 when the two men smuggled thousands of counterfeit iPhones into the United States from China. From there, they would send the counterfeit goods to Apple for repair, claiming the devices would not power on (via The Verge)....
